"Love," Amy said as she knelt between Jim's legs and gazed at his red, swollen eyes. "I said I love you. Not LOVED you."

Feeling the load of these words, Jim closed his eyes, rested his forehead on Amy's, and cried silently.

"I am sorry you have to feel so alone during this time. I should have been there. I should have allowed you to tell me what was happening instead of ignoring your calls. But I still am hurt you lied to me. I am devastated."
