Chapter 71: Taking A Stand

Jim rushed into the conference room, fuming. Unlike his usual jolly, cheerful self, Jim marched with gusto. He had lived his entire adulthood performing- pleasing every news outlet, sponsor, and netizen. Yet, for some fuck-up reason, there are still people who cannot understand that they are so much more than idols.

'Being cozy at the restaurant? Lovers? What the actual fuck.' Jim's thoughts filled with rage.

Jim held the doorknob tightly and pushed it open. Inside, he saw the whole group, PD Nim, and the company's head PR, Rebecca Chan. She was holding an iPad, which Jim assumed she had used to read the malicious reports about him and Lily. His throat tightened. All he could think of was Amy, and the worst part is he had not heard from Amy since she left work for work this morning.
