Chapter 784: Can I Smack Him Yet?

Ok… So I fully believe that Lisa was acting this entire time to string this guy along for some reason. The only problem is that I don't know why she was doing that and whether it had anything to do with my mission.

Maybe she found out something just now that made her act like this? Like he's behind some kind of weird thing that outed him as someone who isn't actually from this World?

Perhaps he was threatening her or something? Nah, that's not possible.

I'll just ask Lisa about it later anyway so I guess I'll just play along with this act for now.

Lisa told the guy to start telling me how he got to his level of proficiency in Alchemy and the guy basically took that as his chance to go ahead and start boasting about his skills.

He started talking about how he would follow his teacher to gather herbs to familiarise himself with them, as if he was the only one who does that…
