Chapter 539: Skeletal Dragon

Once again, I saw the light at the end of the hole and spread my wings to slow my descent.

The worry that the three of them might have died from the fall had crossed my mind while I was diving in but I pushed that worry away for now in favour of chasing after them first.

I dove through the hole expecting myself to be in the same boss room and…

A floor came up to meet me and I almost didn't slow down in time before I crashed face first into the floor.

Surprisingly, I was already slowing down before I even spread my wings, meaning the fall had something magical in particular that would prevent me from killing myself even if I could not fly.

I looked around and found myself in the middle of an intersection with five tunnels leading out in five different directions.

Well, good news is that I know those three most likely didn't die from the fall alone.
