He slit Vaith's throat and that marked the end of the so called "King of rebellions" whilst his people had no idea what happened. When they didn't hear from him for another week, they knew he died fighting in the Stonedance.

Now back to Horriss where the funeral of Lord Aethelind was happening, unexpectedly Princess Aeryn arrived during the golden hour with her husband Lord Petrus Octavianus. The body was set to be burned by the pyre the next day and she was just in time for the burial ceremony.

Unlike how he welcomed his King, Deagol seemed to be more affectionate and kind towards the princess.
