Chapter 77: Sick leave

Elliot was once more in a bad mood when he received Rain's application of leave. The first thing that came to his mind when he received the application was if he had done something that made Erena unhappy and if she would revert back to her old self and begin distancing herself from him once again. He felt even more gloomy once this thought crossed his mind. But he was even more distressed once he read the reason for her leave.

'She is sick? Why? What happened? Did she fell sick because I took her to amusement park yesterday? Did she force herself to go there and fell sick as a result? But she looked happy. So did she overexert herself out of excitement and fell sick as a result? Arghhh... why is she sick? Is it serious? Is she alright? She would be fine right?' Elliot began beating a dead horse.
