Chapter 64: Memories 2

Alex giggled as he returned the favour and kissed his sister's cheeks.

That day, the three men deduced that Rain's condition was not entirely hopeless. The raging demon inside her could be caged if stopped at the initial state. After that day, Alex and Zed made sure to be present beside Rain whenever there was an incident which could affect Rain's emotion which they knew of beforehand.

Alex sighed at the memory and looked down at his sister whose breathing was slowly reverting back to the normal.

It took a while for Rain to calm down and return back to her usual self after hearing Alex's soothing voice. Once she got a control over herself, she broke away from Alex's embrace and looked at her brother in the eyes, "Happy is alive Alex. Our Happy is alive."

Alex grinned, "Yes, sister Rain. Our Happy is alive." The siblings marvelled in joy after the initial glitch.
