Dawn: The God Of Death

" I don't understand what you are saying, if you want to bother someone, just go find someone else." Lock said.

" Hey, I helped you to find the answer to whether your friend regrets dying or not," Dawn responded to Lock, he walked toward the grave and picked the white flowers up from the grave.

" What are you doing? Taking what is been given to the deceased." Lock shouted and then added, " Has no one ever taught you this?"

" I have been taught much better manners and I am not taking these flowers. I am just going to decorate his grave with this instead of just throwing them at it like this, and if you don't remember these flowers had a greater meaning in his life." Dawn replied, " These are the flowers, he used to give to the woman he loved, isn't that right?"

Hearing these words, Lock showed a surprised expression.

' How could he have known? Maybe He is just guessing things,'

" Oh, you also gave these flowers to her when you left this village with Lock." Dawn said while smiling and looking toward the grave as if he was talking to someone, " You must have truly loved her."

" Who are you talking to? How did you know about that?" The situation was getting more and more complicated for Lock, he had to finally ask about this. It was a fact that could have never known about and Lock also remembered it.

" Calm down, My name is Dawn as I have told you." He replied nonchalantly.

" Can you talk to him?" Lock didn't want to believe him but a thought ran through his mind, ' What if it is true?'

" Yes, do you want me to help you and your friend?" Dawn turned back and extended his hand towards Lock.

" I will listen."

-------

" Are you really the god of death? From this conversation, it's clear to me that you can truly speak to him." Lock said, now he was assured that the boy in front of him could truly speak with his dead friend.

" Yes, I am the god of Death, or rather it's the title I was given by the others," Dawn answered.

" If you are the god of death, can you revive my friend?" Lock asked.

" I can make him my servant but I can not revive him," Dawn answered and then explained further, " I can make him my servant but he will never be human again."

" Do it if Kevin agrees to it." Lock said making Dawn turn towards where the Grave was.

" I will agree to it if I know everything about it, such as what becoming your servant would mean for me." Even though Lock could not see or hear it, there was a spirit floating over the grave. A red ball of energy, a soul, there were many others like it over where the graves were but the size of those souls was relatively smaller compared to Kevin's and they were shrinking in size every second. It was clear that this particular soul belonged to Kevin and was special and which is why it had attracted the attention of Dawn who claimed himself to be the god of Death.

" Becoming my servant would mean, being reborn as a creature of death. Since you would be my creation, you can never disobey my command and I will always know your deepest desires. Also, if I die, you will disappear too." Dawn explained in brief. " That's everything about it."

" So, It's slavery," Kevin said, there was one more person who was dissatisfied with this.

" Don't you want to live again for your friend, no matter what?" Dawn asked trying to blackmail him into answering this.

" Kevin, you don't have to agree to it because of me." Lock said. " This is absurd if it is even possible."

" My friend doesn't know about one thing, and there is no need to tell him, for now just tell him that I disagreed. You can make me your servant if you promise to do one thing for me." Kevin said.

" That works for me," Dawn said and turned toward Lock, " He disagreed to do it."

" Your offer was absurd," Lock said and got up, " I am sorry Kevin if you are here, I can not stay here any longer. Thanks for clearing my doubts, I can also live without any regrets now so you rest in peace now." Lock was ready to walk away.

" Are you going without paying me anything for it?" Dawn asked.

" What do you want?" Lock asked.

" I can sense something inside that ring, can you give that to me?" Dawn asked.

Lock took off his ring from his hand and then handed it to dawn.

" You can keep everything inside of it. I don't need any of these things anymore." Lock said and started to walk away.

Now in the cemetery, there was only Dawn and no other living person, Dawn turned towards where Kevin's soul was.

" I never thought that the god of death would be a brat like yourself," Kevin said. " So can you tell me how are we going to do this?" Kevin asked.

" First of all, I need this." Dawn said, " I traveled so far on foot for it. I was fortunate that this time it was not somewhere inside any dungeon or something like that."

Dawn twisted the gem over the ring and suddenly it shot a light toward the ground. On the ground, a dark purple orb suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

" This ring is also a treasure, I guess your friend was a good guy," Dawn said and then picked up the Orb.

" I remember it, this is something we got after attacking a den of monsters, or rather the creatures of death. Are you going to turn me into something like that? They were hideous–" Kevin said however he stopped talking when suddenly the Orb started to glow up. The Entire area was covered in this purple glow, it looked ominous yet beautiful.

[ Your soul is compatible.]

[ Do You Accept The Power Of Death?] A Voice was heard by everyone, but Kevin knew where these words were directed.

" I accept," Dawn answered.
