Chapter 118: Set Me Up

"No problem," Kayla winked. "Now, onto the answer to your question."

"I've always wanted to establish trade between us and the Dome. The problem between both governments is, in my opinion, solvable by distributing the power and wealth, alright?"

Chiaki was interested in what the meaning was. 

"As in, I know that what the Dome is after is the land. But we don't know what makes this vast land so attractive," Kayla explained. Her eyes shone at Chiaki in hope that she would explain it from her perspective as the previous Guardian who dealt majorly with the Council.

"That's alright," Chiaki said. "In summary, the reason why they are doing what they are doing is because they need the land to feed the people. It's about the plant-based versus the meat."
