ARIANNE POV

I sat in my sister's garden, the sun warm on my skin as I watched the guards lurking around, no doubt following Jafar's orders. The tension in the air was palpable, but I couldn't help but hide a smile behind my cup as I took a sip of my cold juice.

Rissa joined me, her casual demeanor belied the danger that surrounded us, but I knew she was just as aware of the guards' presence as I was.

"So what's good with you?" Rissa asked, taking a bite of her cookies to which I arched a brow at, "Don't judge me, I'm eating for two and this one apparently doesn't like lettuce juice." She retorted.

Good choice buddy! I thought to myself as I stared at Rissa who was still munching her cookies. "How have you been?"
