 I stared at the letter in my hands, my heart pounding with a mix of anger, confusion, and longing. The words on the page were simple, yet they held so much weight. It has been six years and four months of pain, torment, sadness, and six agonizing years of being away from my mate. It was fucking hell but I did it, I survived it with the hope that she would still return to me.

I had tried to get her back so many times but each time I was stopped. Harald and Kiran made it clear that Arianne sacrificed herself for a reason because she couldn't take any more deaths. She made a huge sacrifice just to keep us alive and if I crossed it by going to get her back there was no telling what Azar the sick bastard was going to do next. If I did something it would only make Arianne's sacrifice in vain, so I sat still not doing anything and that was the worst decision of my life.
