We took off with the girls on our back, trying to get back to the safety of the high walls of our castles. As I ran with full speed, I kept stealing side glances at Arianne. Her face still remained the same, even as the wind hits her face and her hair flowed wildly behind her. I immediately quickened my steps trying to get her home. I know that it was going to be difficult for her to recover from Blue's death based on what I've seen but I also understood that what she needs right now is to be around her people. Maybe if she sees the twins she will be back to herself, she won't be able to neglect them, right? I asked myself.
