Chapter 141: A FATHER'S CRY FOR HELP

My father was really in trouble just as he claimed.

Apparently Thomas stole the deed of the house and gambled with it. He also stole few jewelry and now he was in a huge debt. The matter then escalated and now my father is being chased and threatened by loan sharks. Thomas had also been missing for half a month, he didn't bother to return back home after he had done his evil deed. I can't believe my father was stupid enough to have fallen into this trap Thomas laid for them.

I paced around the room not sure how to go about this matter. My father sat still, his eyes tracking my movement. He gave me a forlorn look as I paced up and down trying to get my thoughts together so I could think clearly.

"Arianne?" My father called from where he was sitting.
