Chapter 107: THE WRATH

Levi smacked me hard across the face that made me fall sideways on the chair. I glared at him as I felt the blood drip from the corner of my lips. The motherfucker was just not giving up and neither was I. If he thinks he's going to get my power then he must have another thing going! I thought to myself as I continued glaring at him.

"Arianne_" My gaze cut to Aurora who was standing in the corner. "Just give up already."

I let out an humourless laugh before I glared at Levi. "You really think you can take the power away from me?"

Levi bent down and grabbed my chin roughly in his hands. "There's something different about you today." He observed as he stared into my eyes. "Your eyes, they aren't filled with the fear you usually have anytime you sit on the chair. There's something different."

"And here I thought you were a dimwit, glad to see you aren't so daft after all." I say sweetly as I batted my eyelashes at him.
