No one raised a protest as the wrath warriors started their search.

It had only been a couple of seconds but I believe they would get to me in no time. It was a surprise they had not sniffed me out already. Rowan had said I would smell like a Royal Fate, I presumed that was another creature of this realm. A powerful one, too.

I wonder how he had done that?

Wait, maybe that was it. 

I wasn't smelling like the human they were looking for, nor the incubus, but I couldn't hide under my hood forever and something told me that my scent wasn't a permanent shield either.

I needed to get out of here, but how?

If I moved, then I would call attention to myself quickly than it would have moved to me at a natural searching pace, the hand that pulled me to a side didn't seem to get the memo though.
