Chapter 92: The Slum

Clover walked out of the hut, and he made up his mind to go to the base. He wanted to meet Old Man Frederick, and if Eliza was there, then he could join in their discussion about the sightings of the pack of wolves destroying the alarm trap.

With his exceptional perception, he saw Quinn jogging to the base despite that with average vision, anyone could only see a small dot. Clover smiled as to how dedicated this younger brother of his was. He decided to bring this kiddo with him when he traveled to the city.

Clover slowly walked to the base, and he passed through the slum once again. Same faces, and the same ages. Most were kids, while fewer of them were in middle age. He stopped in front of a middle-aged man, and the latter was lying lifelessly at the side of the street.
