The sound of mechanical components turning, chiming, and whining was heard as the three machines activated themselves and started to walk toward Jamal, Nadia, and Kalisa.

These machines, as simple as they looked, carried a certain presence with them that was mostly common among strong Normals and Mutants. For a bunch of machines, they certainly looked strong and formidable, a conduit perfect enough for the three Normals to act out on.

The first to move was Jamal who relied on speed more than any other attribute. With the crystal powering his body, he moved quickly and swiftly towards his machine. Once close enough, Jamal slid on the grassy field and directly went underneath the machine's legs before standing up directly behind it.

With both legs lunged, one fist folded and the other hand providing support, the boy leaned back, pulled all his strength into his fist, and let out a strong punch…and missed.
