The city which was once free and allowed for her people to move about freely had now turned into a war-raged dystopian metropolis that looked as though it were under a new dictatorship. 

The sudden rise of Military Grade and Police Grade Mechs, roadblocks and checkpoints at almost every turn, and thirty-minute interval patrols made the place rather unsettling for the people of Desper and yet they were the ones who brought it upon themselves.

Due to the riot that took place a night ago, the Military and Police had enforced new rules and once they were approved by the City Council and New Mayor, they were heavily enforced by the two parties, neither willing to slack off for a second.
