Chapter 42: CHAPTER 42: THE OUTLET

 Elliott ransacked Jacob's home. He didn't know exactly what kind of outlet he was looking for but he knew that there was one. He got to his room and searched everywhere as well. He searched every nook and cranny of Jacob's room. He still couldn't find anything.

 Out of frustration, he pushed everything that was on his reading desk to the floor which made a thumping sound on the ground. That wasn't the only sound Elliott heard. He also heard a creaking noise, like that of a rusty hinged door.

 "What was that?" He said to himself. Then he got down on one knee, picked a book up from the floor and thumped it on that same spot where he heard the noise coming from as he bent his ear low to the ground to listen carefully.
