A Dying Confession

Everything around them seemed to stop moving, like a still pulseless world that appeared heavy and dark. 

Somehow, Anna had successfully managed to reach Roshan, but in the end, she received the arrow that wasn't even meant for her, feeling the sharp thing pierce through her clothes and coming in contact with her skin. 

It created a hole as it pierced a little deeper into her delicate skin, to the point she felt it strike her heart which made her eyes widen in reaction.

The man who had her in his arms as she still hugged him, felt his own eyes dilate momentarily as he saw the traces of blood that flowed from her back, painting her dress, then horrifyingly shifting his gaze to the arrow that connected with her skin, and it felt as though his own heart got stabbed after processing what just happened.

She risked her life to save him??!!

"Anna?" He pulled back a bit to stare at her face that was still contorted from the shock of being hit with an arrow.
