Chapter 100: Chapter 100: First encounter

She collided with one of the chamber stones and stayed there for a few seconds. I touched my head, and I saw blood all over my head. I felt a little bit dizzy, but it went away when my wounds healed up. 

Nefertiti stood up while smirking at me as if nothing had happened. She took the dagger off her chest as if it didn't affect her. And throw it away.

"You're quite a fighter, huh," she said. "Far from someone who I used to watch crying and helpless as I let her watch her family being killed by her mate," she said and began to show her sinister smirk. 

My ears perked up, and I immediately recognized who was the one talking. 

"Hawwah!" I speak her name.

And she laughs maniacally. 

"Your very existence is a slap at me, keeps me reminding how my husband doted on Lilith rather than me, who gave him a lot of children," she said, and I could still sense the bitterness in her voice.
