Xion whispered as he watched Ale fall asleep on his back. Although he was a demon, he wasn't controlled by his instincts or nature. Simply said, he was just as rational as any other human.

That's why, the things that Ale was doing, helping others, sparing his enemy, minimizing casualties in the war, Xion was very impressed by these things. He didn't think Ale was being hypocritical or anything, it was just Ale being human.

Xion wanted to help Ale out as much as he could during his stay in the human realm. And he also wanted to visit new places, try out different foods and experience various human culture along with Ale.

Soulmate. His very own soulmate. Although they were from different worlds, and although they had completely opposite nature and attribute, Xion was sure that Ale was the one. His only one.
