Chapter 49: War Strategist Ale

"Ahahah.. It seems like the static is really high here."

Ale patted both Xion and Rudy on the back a few times as he tried to ease their confusion and worry. Although he knew about their fated relationship and enmity, there was one thing Ale was very good at.

'Going against fate is my specialty after all!'

He thought to himself as he refilled both of their drinks. From the moment Ale started seeing things about the future, he had changed a lot. 

In the past, fate was something absolute to him. It was something that no human had the power to go against. Or so he thought. 

And even after knowing the future, there was a time when Ale fell into severe depression since he still believed in the absolute power of fate. 

Naturally, he thought that the future was set on stone and that he could do nothing to change it. And having seen such horrible things in his own fate, he lost all motivation and the willpower to even continue his daily life.
