Chapter 63: CUCKOLDED

Lucas' POV

I studied her expressions anxiously. I didn't know what had compelled me to tell her all that but it was how I felt and it was the truth. And something told me Tiana would appreciate the truth and she deserved to know it.

"Ok", she nodded and looked away from me.

She was avoiding my eyes and I could see the faintest tingle of a blush on her cheeks.

I felt the urge to tease her about it but I held my tongue.

"And you?", I asked her.

"What?", she asked back.

"Why are you suddenly being nice to me as well?", I asked her.

She studied me for a while.

"I clearly remember you saying you can never be friends with someone like me", I reminded her.

"And who says we are friends?", she asked calmly, studying me, her eyes twinkling mischievously.

I decided to ignore that and pressed on.

"So why?", I asked again.

She studied me quietly for a while.
