Chapter 93: The Sudden Attack!

Scarlett stared at the phone since she hit the send button but to her disappointment there was no reply. Not yet.

"I hope he's safe." She muttered to herself but the commissioner heard anyway.

"Don't worry Scarlett, Ricardo would never attack your husband if he's in a closed public place. The chances of him attacking him so soon after the incident, is very low." He says assuring Scarlett's worry.

"But he did follow my car. What if they are doing the same to Ezra?" She asked.

"He might, I'm not saying he hasn't. It's a shock itself that you were followed. It's not even a complete month of him being underground and he has already started going after you." He says.

Scarlett sat and worried about him. The fact that he is not even picking up The Commissioner's phone has her more worried.

"Where is he?" The commissioner asked pacing around in the house.

Scarlett shook her head at him, "he isn't replying to me either."
