Chapter 73: Wash me My Love

Both of them sat cuddling each other's bodies. Staring into the thin air and letting all the positive thoughts sink into them. "It's getting dark, Scarlett." Ezra says, glancing at the wide window. 

"Hmm…" she hums in his chest taking in his warmth. "You still smell like medicine," she looks up at him, "let's wash up?"

"Ugh, really? I don't want to take a shower with this plaster on my arm." Ezra whines.

"Come on Ezra, you gotta need a bath or else I'll not be sleeping with you tonight. You can stay alone in your bedroom."

Scarlett's words made him chuckle, "you really think that little threat will work on me?"

"It should if you still want to sleep with me." Scarlett stood her ground.

"Okay that's not fair, I don't want to take a bath right now. Plus I don't think I can handle it on my own. What if I get water on my plaster?" Ezra told her to which she rolled her eyes.
