Chapter 48: Chapter 48- We Are Not Like That!
I dreamed of something quite amazing today. I don't know nor remember what prompted it to happen but I enjoyed every minute of it.
The dream let me experience something I had never thought of doing, or receiving rather, as I felt a soft lap underneath my head.
The warmth of, who I hoped to be a her, helped dozed me off further into sleep, somehow, even though I was sure it was but a dream.
It was so soft…so warm…so addicting. Until I finally woke up.
I found myself to be in an unfamiliar bedroom. The bed bounced quite nicely as I moved my body, my futon is still the best tho.
They do look quite furnished, as in frills adorned every edge of it. A veil of see-through cloth draped itself on each of my side, covering my vision with a purple-colored lense.
I grazed my left hand on the cloth and its texture felt like silk, cold and silky, yet its appearance isn't. Material of this world, I thought.
But, I still could feel the expensiveness it radiates. The drapes, the furniture of the room, everything. As if I was inside a royal bedroom. It even had cooling systems like AC's back in earth. It's extremely comfortable.

Then I recalled, the last moments before I turned unconscious. I was still in the embrace of Yun Ning, much to my pleasure.
Remembering it, a wide smile bloomed on my face.
Even now, I still couldn't believe something like this would happen. Especially to me.
The feeling of being accepted, even after all that, might be the happiest feeling I've felt in a while. In a very long time even.
My body and mind relaxed, letting my body drop onto the soft bedding.
I closed my eyes, only to open them after a while, confirming that this was indeed not a dream. A relieved sigh escaped my mouth.
I wouldn't know what to do if those gentle words she uttered turned out to be a lie or even a dream I desperately manifested. My mind would certainly be fucked even more though.

I guess she's my friend now. No, she's always has been, it's just me regarding her as something else.
I feel a lot better now. Though I don't think I can manage more than one friend right now. Even just having her close to me brought back so much unpleasant memories, well, before all this.
But still, I'll just slowly discover once more what it means to have a genuine friend. It's not like I'll stumble upon another meeting like Yun Ning's in the near future.
And god knows I won't search for one willingly.
Take it slow, I guess, I have all the time in the world after all.

=Back to 3'rd PoV, Yaaaay~=
Inside the luxurious dining room long ren and Yn passed by, Yun Ning and her master, Diona sat facing each other as they ate a sumptuous meal. Something akin to a three-course meal from Earth.
Yun Ning and Diona laid down their cutleries, although quite a bit of food are still left untouched, they were done with their meal. Diona knocked on the table with once, and all the dishes disappeared.
"I still can't get over the fact that We've been eating like money isn't anything," Yun Ning said, smiling wryly as she wiped the corners of her mouth,
Diona looked at her disciple and smiled, "It's fine, the best for my cute disciple after all," She said as she rests her head with the support of her right hand.
"I know, but I just can't help comparing it with my previous meals,"
"Do you not enjoy it?"
"No, I do, but it's just that my perception of everything changed ever since we met." Yun Ning said, looking at Diona, her eyes glimmered with a grateful smile.
Diona smiled in return, "Well, I hope everything is for the better now, you deserve all of this after all," She said, to which Yun Ning only responded with a small yet happy "Un,"
Diona then handed her a ring, "Here's long ren's portion, he should be awake by now, unless his sleeping habits prove to be worse than I thought," She said, clicking her tongue.
Yun Ning chuckled, "It's fine, isn't it? He just confessed his deepest feelings, after all. I did not expect him to bottle so much pain." Yun Ning said. She wondered what had happened to long ren in the past.
To make him all depressed like before must've been quite aggravating. But, if only remembering it made him like this, Yun Ning doubts she will be able to learn about the whole thing soon.
"Mn, I also didn't expect that. As far as I know, he came to the sect when he was 10, that too with missing memories…"
"Really…?"
"Un. I wonder what happened to make him act like so." Diona said, tilting her head, curious about long ren's past.
Yun Ning squinted her eyes, "Don't ask him please, I know Master is a curious type but doing so would only make him relapse." She said, her tone leaving no room to negotiate,
Diona widened her eyes, "Oya~? Is my little Yun Ning acting so protective towards this young boy now~? I wonder what happened between the two of you when I was gone." Diona said, her tone full of teasing as her hands made a motion not fit for children.
"MASTER!" Yun Ning screamed, her face blushed red as she stood up and slammed the table. "Nothing happened between us! I was just helping him get through some things!" She continued as she tried to stop her master from making even more R-18 gestures.
"Ufufu~ My little Yun Ning had grown up, I wonder when you will make him fully yours~," Diona said as she finally ceased her hand's lewd gestures.
"Also, here." Diona said, handing a box to Yun Ning. Yun Ning released her hand off her master and stared at the box,

"...Master, Why, pray tell, would I ever need to have this item." Diona slowly muttered as her voice went deeper. A vein almost popped as she looked at her Master,
Diona whistled in response, "Oh, I don't know, maybe when you gave long ren his food, you would also give him your buns, you kn–,"
*BAM*
Yun Ning punched Diona on the stomach as Diona let herself fly through the room, landing beside a now broken vase, "You can't escape it forever Yun Ning!" she said teasingly,
"WE'RE NOT LIKE THAT! GOD!" Yun Ning exclaimed, letting out an exasperated sigh as she stomped her legs hard on the ground.
If there was one thing that got changed for the worse, it is her perception of her VERY perverted Master.
"I'm leaving!" Yun Ning said as she left the dining room and headed upstairs, leaving her Master laying down on the cold floor.
Diona looked at her fleeting back and shook her head, "The faster it happens, the better it is for you too, you know," She said to Yun Ning, though she probably didn't get to hear it.
Diona let out a wry smile and as moments passed, her look started to turn complicated.
"...And the better it is for me,"
