Chapter 6: So easy
11th Ward Base, Torture Room
''I am honored to meet you Oomori-san''
"There's no need for all this drama, Hayato. Even though we haven't met before I can feel that we are really quite alike" Oomori tried to force a smile
Hayato took a good look at this huge ghoul in front of him, it was the first time he had met oomori and he also felt the same way as he did. they were extremely similar. but unlike hayato, jason had lost his mind a long time ago. he didn't care about hunger. he cared about his sadistic desire to torture his victims before eating. while one didn't play with food the other did.
"Well, I heard that you were going to break a toy while the invasion was going on. where is it?''
As Hayaro said his last sentence the door to the room was opened and two ghouls entered carrying a girl. she appeared to be between thirteen and fourteen years old. she was full of wounds and one finger was missing. but as a ghoul her regeneration was rebuilding the finger.
"Put her here" Oomori pointed to a chair where the ghoul was placed and tied by her hands and feet.
''May I know who she is?'' hayato could feel some familiarity with this girl, but he still didn't know why.
''from what I've been told she is called hinami, I got her from anteiku's heart. i hope she doesn't break too fast... it would be a waste. don't you agree hayato?hayato?''
hayato had stopped listening to jason after the word 'anteiku', if the girl was captured...then that old man was coming here to get her back. so that's why he seemed to remember her, before hayato became a cannibal ghoul he was part of anteiku. he still remembers serving the delicious coffee that hinami loved so much.
Coming out of his trance moment, he nodded in agreement with jason's statements, even though deep down he hadn't heard anything.
''If he is coming, then we are all dead...''
He felt an extreme fear of that old man, he knew his past, so more than anyone he knew how powerful he was.
''I have to get the tools, wait for me here'' Jason turned and left the room with the other two ghouls towards the room where he kept all the torture material.
A few minutes after hayato made sure he was well away he came close to hanami and slapped her, bringing her back to reality. the girl was extremely scared and out of her mind. when she looked at the ghoul in front of her immediately her eyes filled with tears.
"Listen Hanami, my name is Hayato. Remember me? You loved my coffee.'' hayato made the most loving smile he could.
''Hayato-oniisan?'' Hinami cried even more as she remembered the man in front of her, she knew how dangerous he had become.
''Come on Hanami, I know what they told you about me...it's all lies, you know it isn't it? I still remember playing with you with Touka. talking about her, where is she?''.
Hinami hearing the last sentence cried even more.
He was holding back from punching this girl. God, how he hated children.
''Touka-chan is dead, two doves killed her''
*SIREN ALERT*
Hayato didn't even have the chance to reason about the death of Touka, he didn't care about her death, of course, but he had to gain the girl's trust. The alarm? was a sign that the ccg had just invaded the building.
He looked at the crying girl with his head down and wiped his tears
"Soon you will meet with the other hinami, you can be sure of that. but right now I have to go. i'll come back for you.''
hayato walked quickly to the exit, even being a partner of the much feared jason he had to fight on the front line. at least that's what the others expected from him. with the arrival of hanami the plans got a little more complicated, he had new ideas in his head, the remaining members of the anteiku are a great source of food and strength improvement. he felt that he was getting closer and closer to achieving his long dreamed of kakuja. how did he know that? as every ghoul who reaches the evolution of kakuja falls into madness he too will not escape this fate. he has psychotic breakouts where he is being devoured alive by ghouls while his regeneration brings him even more torture.
''Five or four ghouls are enough for my evolution, if that old man really comes to the rescue I will need this power. ''

When hayato finally arrived in the main hall where the direct confrontation was taking place he realized how interesting this war was, he believed that big doves would appear in this confrontation. but he didn't expect so many.
''Iwao Kuroiwa, Yukinori Shinohara, Mougan Tanakamaru, how many names gathered and so many others I don't know''
The investigators split up on the floors, soon the cannon fodder was left in the front and some who used the weapon called quinque were left in the front to clear the way, there were two specific investigators who stayed on this floor. they recognized Hayato immediately
Kureo Mado and Koutarou Amon were the high-ranking investigators in charge of eliminating the ghouls on that floor and continuing to move forward.
In the blink of an eye the confrontation began, mado was the first to activate his quinque and go towards Hayato, who released his kagune at an absurd speed, the exit of the kagune was so strong that the air around danced. the force of the impact was so high that Mado was sent miles away until he fell dead to the ground. when his body hit the ground the damage was the first thing to notice. his face was unrecognizable and his body was deformed.
Amon, who had no time to reason what was happening, was met with a kagune directly in his face, dying in the process.
Only silence was heard on both sides.
