There were several ghoul investigators gathered in a room at CCG HQ, it was a typical occurrence, they always take a day a week to tell the good news and discuss about the violence in the districts and the ghouls that are making too much noise in the quiet districts, after all, the organization should favor the districts with rich people.
"Have you heard? Rize is dead, the victim of an accident by chance" An Investigator made a point of shouting what he just said
"By chance? Don't be an idiot, Ryouma. Ghouls don't die by chance.'' Kureo Mado entered the room with a macabre smile on his face, everyone was used to his old and ugly face. but it still caused chills.
''Clearly she was murdered, not that I'm complaining. the more dead ghouls the better don't you think? well, I'm here to talk to you about the issue of murder and who killed rize'' Mado said pulling from his briefcase a piece of paper from a masked man and throwing it on one of the tables nearby.
''As you may know, this is the first appearance of this ghoul with this mask. he has no alias in the organization's files, in fact, he is not even listed in the files. he is an invisible person in the system... until now. he was seen near the accident by the district's residents and by the over human speed said by the residents it was for sure a ghoul.''
Everyone in the room trembled at this moment, an unknown ghoul ended up killing rize. she was a ghoul that was mentioned all the time in these meetings and she simply dies, this is scary. how strong was this ghoul? stronger than rize? the same? how did he hide so well.
Mado seeing the frightened expressions in the eyes of these investigators made him extremely angry, more and more the organization is creating fearful people instead of men.... he sighed in supplication.
''I didn't come here just to give you this little news, I came to deal with a more important matter. ''
"What do you want to take care of, mado, this week's topic is the aogiri terrorist organization. it is more important than a newcomer... we don't even know if he is the one who killed rize. he could simply be nearby.'' The investigator named kenjiro made a point of showing his voice of debauchery towards mado ''You're just an old man who keeps creating theories that have no truth to them at all.''
The whole room was filled with laughter and silence from some investigators, those who respected mado and others who thought he was a crazy old man.
Koutarou Amon the partner of mado was in the back of the room in silence while boiling with anger, he wanted to stand up and defend his master in words but he was met with a hand waving at him. it was from mado, it was a 'stop' sign.
''Come on Amon, they don't seem to understand anything''
Mado turned his back and left the room and amon who was at the back of the room followed him down the hall.

The two partners walked down the hall in quick steps
''What do we do? Simple, we kill him ourselves. If you want a good job, do it yourself. take this tip to your grave. an old man's advice is always useful.''
