Chapter 128: The Angelic Wyrm

Vesuvius stood on the flat stone square, surrounding cobblestone glowing in red from the heat. Thick clouds slowly sprawled through the square. The circle of soldiers standing all around him were slowly retreating backwards, widening their encirclement to avoid the smoke. Dozens of sharp spears pointed at the dragon.

''Minion, what is the meaning of this? Why are there so much of demons? Have you betrayed me?'' the dragon responded through the mental channel created by the young woman in front of him.

The woman on the wall trembled as if trying to shrink away, ''Your Highness, I would never betray you! I don't know why but a powerful demon reacted to us opening the portal, even feeding their mana to make it wider!''
