Chapter 135: In seducing your husband

After sharing a passionate, heated kiss, Édouard pulled away and gazed at her. They both smiled at each other. Their foreheads touched and they smiled.

"You have succeeded," Édouard whispered against her lips.

"What do you mean?" She tilted her head.

"In seducing your husband. Earlier, you were so hesitant," Édouard stated.

Charlotte chuckled and laughed a little. Her fingers traced the scars on his torso and slowly the smile disappeared from her lips. She didn't say anything and kept staring into his eyes.

"What do you want to say?" Édouard asked her finally.

"Are you happy, Édouard?" Charlotte queried him.

"Of course. I am the happiest man of this kingdom," Édouard replied.

"Say the truth," Charlotte said.

"It is the truth," Édouard emphasized.

"If I'll ask you the same question after a month, a year, or many years will your answer be the same?" Charlotte inquired.
