Chapter 2: Chapter 1 Pink & Adorable

Ritsu had a big wide smile. Today's one year since he's been reincarnated. He knows this because last night his memories started to return to him.
That means today is his birthday, January 5th.
Ritsu didn't know if they celebrate birthdays or not, well he knew they did because Iruka brought Naruto cake that one time.
Anyway he was wondering when he was reincarnated as the memories of the young Ristu, his predecessor, were emerging from his mind.
Now he must carry on the name, Ritsu as if it were his own.
In this life he will live as he pleases, be the kage of his people.
Luckily in his memories it seems he is part of a clan, his parents had pink eyes much more prominent than the rest of the clan members.
However, the clan in his memories were desolate and there were few members.
They wore armors that looked like samurais when they are supposed to be shinobi.
Recalling the warring states period armor, mainly Madara and Hashirama's armor.
He was stunned as God chose to reincarnate him in the era where they send kids at the age of six to war. Damn it.
Anyway his objective shifted from being a playboy savior to let's leave a legend.
It's time to be the first Kage, and considering in his memories there would be fog all around.
He will be the first Mizukage.
Wait… in Ritsu's memories he didn't recall anything about Hashirama or Madara.
Is he perhaps older than them?
Ritsu decided he could always just gather more information later
While Ritsu was searching his host's memories he recalled a moment in which his father said he would make a fine member of the Karatachi Clan.
That meant his whole name was Ritsu Karatachi.
Meaning he's the ancestor of Yagura or at least he hoped it wasn't so because he didn't plan on having kids in this life.
The Karatachi is a small clan like a really small clan consisting of around fifty adults.
The clan members all have some similar trait that is in our pink eyes and our average stature.
Though it's only a small percentage of us who are way below average height.
Hair color ranges from dark brown hair to light brown-grayish hair.
Luckily for Ritsu his parents are taller than the majority of his clan so he should be at least average height hopefully.
He got up from my bed and exited his room.
The house isn't big compared to the average modern home, it's made from wood and it's shabily built.
It only has two bedrooms, and one room being the living room and dining room. If they brought the food back.
The floors are even dirt.
Kinda sad, even more so when he remembered the fact his dad is the Patriarch of the Karatachi Clan.
Guess he gets inherited rights. Not that there's much to inherit.
Ritsu sat down at the table as it appears that he is the first to wake up which is surprising since his mother would have already woken up by now and been making breakfast.
He wondered if they were getting at it while he was asleep.
That couldn't be it since Ritsu would have heard it considering how the house is shabby but probably didn't hear it because he was busy remembering his past life.
Ritsu tried thinking about having a panel of information like most main characters have when being reincarnated to another world.
'Status.'
1 seconds, 5 seconds, but nothing happens.
Ritsu tried again.

Once again nothing happens.
'Damn I thought the old man would have given me a system or something as a bonus.'
'Wait some protagonist needed a mirror for status to activate. But I don't think the clan has a mirror, then I can just use water.'
'Then I should explore the compound.' Ritsu decided to go run around the compound.
He exited his house which is at the center of Karatachi's settlement. It's a bit misty but luckily it seems to be one of those days where they will have more sun than clouds.
Ritsu started running around exploring the little settlement of the Karatchi.
As he explored the compound there were already a few members up and about doing their daily things.
Though when they saw him they would greet him, "Morning Young lord."
Being the respectful person he is.
Ritsu would greet back, "Morning!" but once he did they would show a surprised face.
Ritsu wondered if he was even supposed to greet back.
To the north there seems to be a storage house or a type of gathering house. He didn't think it's needed though.
The west seems to consist of just houses and to the south is more houses there seems to be a road leading out of the settlement from there.
Finally there's a well at the east of the settlement, to which a woman was already pulling a bucket of water.
Recalling that he had an ability called identify, Ritsu smack his forehead as he would have to look for the clansmen that he had passed by and look for them again.
Ritsu activated his identification ability on her.

That's pretty neat except for the fact that she's thirty five, she looks to be around twenty year old or something, Ritsu guessed it's because she's below five feet or so.
Along with a smooth face there seems to be no signs of aging.
Please let me be decently sized if not the other Kages are going to treat me like a kid.
Another thing to take notice of is the fact that she is a civilian while having the talent to be a Jonin, Ritsu wondered if it's because they didn't train female clan members in the warring states period.
'That's a loss of manpower,' lamented Ritsu.
But the most important thing to know is the bloodline percentage.
'What does it mean?'
As soon as the woman left Ritsu approached the well and climbed up carefully just enough so he could peer over the well to see his reflection.
Fortunately the water was higher probably since it rains a lot allowing the water to seep into the underground cave. Not that he knows if that is how it works.

'Why were the children of Kaguya only 95% wasn't their father, pretty much a civilian.'
[The stronger bloodline will prevail, even if the father is civilian it won't make the Otkutsuki bloodline purity go down much.
Then again no one can know for sure because it is dealing with genetics.]
'Those guys were born hundreds of years ago, how has their bloodline not been diluted throughout their descendants?'
[In this world where the bloodline is important they limit themselves to those within their clan.
However the shinobi in this world don't know that if they just focus on increasing their numbers naturally. There may be a mutation where the child gets a higher purity than its parents so if the parents are around 15% and 30% normally the child would be around 20-29ish% but..]
'Genetics don't work like that. Just like if the parents are talented, that doesn't necessarily mean the child will be strong or talented.'
[That is correct they could end up with less than 15ish% in purity, or in between 15 to 45ish%, or they may trigger a mutation that allows them to go above the highest bloodline parent.
Especially so in the warring state period as the mentality of the people is to get stronger as they don't know when they will be wiped out thus somewhat triggering the mutation within themselves]
'Ok that makes some sense since Yagura and Mei are strong probably due to being the only ninjas left of their clan. So are you able to tell me what year it is?'

Speechless Ritsu continued to explore the compound till he was tired and found a secluded spot.
'System give me the enhancement!'

Ritsu walked to a house and went behind where other wouldn't see before clicking yes.
Rtisu started to feel a warmth feeling expanding from his dantian to his chakra nodes.
As the chakra went through all the nodes he started to feel excruciating pain as the chakra forcefully unblocked all the nodes.
Ritsu recalled from the anime kids didn't learn to mold chakra till they were four years old because one their chakra nodes are undeveloped but also because their chakra reserves were not at an acceptable degree.
Now as a one year old who had chakra equivalent to a four year old, along with natural enhancement of his body he unlocked his chakra naturally.
He understood now why they waited till they were four year old since the chakra pathways would unblock naturally as the child grew.
His body was being molded through the enhancement, so it was excruciatingly painful. That was his last thought till he fainted into darkness.
