Chapter 40: 40 - Pray

The village was cast in a deep purple hue from the sun setting and leaving just the remnants of his dark orange hue mixing into the night that was to fall soon.

Young adults were entertaining the kids by shifting into their wolf spirits and chasing them around. Small wolves that were yet to grow to their full capacity sprinted free around the village lanes. The colors of their fur range from earthy browns, dusty greys, jet blacks, and a few rare whites.

The evening at the village, just like every other evening was filled with the sounds of ladies nose deep into their gossip and unofficial matchmaking for the bachelors of the tribe.

"Would the Betas son make finally find his mate?"

"Why hasn't he claimed Ari yet?"

"Oh she is yet to shift, he cannot her claim until she has completed her shifting!"

"I've seen Richards daughter warm up to him quite frequently, maybe she will catch his eye soon enough"
