Chapter 32: 32 - Calm Down

He'd already be dead if I could have cut Rhen's throat. But I did not have the energy to argue or be angry right now. There was no reason for him to hold me here. It seems as if he has saved me from my father's mess, but my learnings tell me that no man would ever keep you beside him unless he wants something.

'What do you want, doucheface?'

'Learn some respect, Anna. You don't have a career remember that. The investors are ready to chop you off and share your blood when you step out of this mansion. Hell, I don't give a fuck about that. You're more than free to be their prey. Come on, step out. There's no roof over your head, and you have no one to go back to. Your existence is worthless.'
