Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Serenity
Jörmungandr and Fenrir appeared through the portal, with them finding themselves inside of a golden and chi-filled Dimension, one that seemed to be overflowing with an abundance of life energy.
"How the hell did that bastard manage to find a Dimension this good will always be something that I question to myself." Fenrir said as he breathed in the powerful energy that seemed nearly endless in this realm.
"It likely was Mother giving him a present, the same way she gave me that hammer or she gave you that spear. The woman loves giving extravagant gifts to her children." Jörmungandr said as he continued walking, not allowing the powerful Chi around them to temp him in the slightest.
The two walked for a few minutes, with them finally finding an extremely strange sight to anyone that was not a member of their family.
They saw Oogway floating above a giant boulder in a lotus position, with two shirtless young men having chains wrapped around them pulling the boulder inch by inch.
"Don't do anything stu- And he's gone." Jörmungandr said to seemingly himself as he blasted towards Oogway with his claws once again sharpened.
"Ahh. This is Harmony. Pea- What now?" Oogway's serene expression morphed into annoyance as his staff wrapped around the hand of his attacker, with him then sending a powerful palm blast into his chest that sent Fenrir flying.
"Fenrir? Are you still this immature after all these years? Fine, I'll show you that my wisdom is not without skill. Prepare!!" Oogway said as he thought back on all the times the dirty wolf had bullied him, with him blasting towards Fenrir with such momentum that the boulder he was on shattered, with Madara and Hashirama tumbling forward and taking faces full of dirt.
Jörmungandr was about to get involved, yet after contemplation, he merely sat down with his hand under his chin while looking at the ongoing fight, seemingly intrigued about which of his younger brothers was stronger.
"You dumb turtle!! I'm going to make you into a soup!!! I am a Master of the Mystic Arts for a reason!!!" Fenrir yelled as he went towards Oogway again, his hands engulfed in fire, making him seem even more threatening.
"There is always more to learn, even for a master." Oogway said as he disrespectfully backhanded Fenrir into a nearby boulder, with Oogway then manipulating the Chi in the realm to cream massive pillars of light, with it bombarding Fenrir before Oogway blitzed into his body again, landing powerful blows that just pounded Fenrir deeper into the ground.
Oogway then used his staff to write a symbol, with it blasting down onto Fenrir with the same force as Nuclear Magic, Magic capable of destroying entire nations.
Oogway then floated in the air as his golden cloak waved in the wind, with the smoke from his attack clearing to reveal Fenrir, yet he was no longer in his human like state.
Instead, Fenrir now stood in his primal state, with his eyes glowing an eerie green color as he looked at his brother more as if he was prey rather than a sibling.
"So your getting that serious, huh?" Oogway muttered as he saw his brother, with him closing his eyes.
"You are the most childish of us all." Jörmungandr said as he stood, ready to intervene and put an end to the battle before he became too serious.
"No need, elder brother. He always walks this long path where he eventually ends up where he began. He never gets anywhere but the same childish place that he began, and it's time someone shows him a new path." Oogway said as he opened his eyes, with them now glowing with an ethereal color as he appeared directly above Fenrir and placed a palm on his head, with Oogway then invoking upon Runes so old that they were stated to have existed since the beginning of the Universe.
But, just as he was about to speak the first Word of Power, Jörmungandr appeared and grabbed his hand, with the two staring into each other's eyes.
"Enough. Even if he is foolish, he is still our brother." Jörmungandr said as he stared into his younger brother's eyes.
"You act as if I would harm him seriously. I was only going to turn him into a kitten for a few weeks." Oogway said in his Sage-like tone, paying no attention to the slight strands of fear that appeared in Fenrir's eyes at that revelation.
"You know, I don't think that would be half bad." Jörmungandr added, making his fear growing even more.
But, Oogway's expression turned serious as he looked at his siblings, the Chi around them vibrating as he looked at them with a questioning look.
"Why are you two in my realm?"
"I would like to know the answer to that as well." Another voice sounded from nearby, with all three brothers finding Irene staring down at them all with an unimpressed look, one that made each of them feel the primal fear of their older sibling.
