Chapter 107: A Bad Day

"I am alright duke. I was quite shocked. It's my first time someone ever yelled at me. Haha."

Asher, who was still quite shaken by what happened, explained to the duke who was looking at him with worry. The duke's face was filled with worry, waiting for Asher to say something.

"Does your shoulder hurt? I saw you holding your shoulder before."

The duke asked and Asher shook his head to imply it didn't hurt anymore.

"It's fine now."

Asher said but both the duke and Miss didn't seem convinced. They both stared at him to the point Asher had to repeat the same thing again and again.

"I am alright. Really. Thank you for worrying and helping me."

Asher said. Now that he was quite focused, he recalled the duke standing in front of him and asking the man to apologise. Asher was thankful to him for stepping up like that.
