Chapter 39: A Good Day

Asher slept well for a long time and when he woke up, the room was empty.

Now, Asher was wondering what to do next. He was in this duke's oversized clothes. And, it was obvious now it's daytime.

'I came to the duke in the morning. I am sure we had sex for quite some time. This definitely can't be the same day. This is morning. It's a different day! Damn! I slept the night here?'

Asher got off the bed thinking his legs must be okay by now. But to his utter surprise, he immediately fell to the ground with his legs weak.

He tried to get up grabbing the bed but ended up pulling the bed sheet and throwing himself again onto the ground.

'Huh! Even this damn bed hates me!'

Asher was feeling grumpy and complained in his mind about everything before suddenly pausing when the door to the room was suddenly opened.

Asher saw the duke standing there with a surprised look on his face, and also somewhat...relieved??

"Finally, you are awake!"
