Two Brothers

Adam saw Camellia and Alexander get into a car and he didn't understand why it messing up his mind right now. Perhaps, he was just worried, thinking that Alexander was always harsh with words and Camellia might get hurt.

Walking straight to the parking lot, he pulled out his phone out of his pocket. As he was calling his secretary's number, he looked at the sports car that just parked beside him.

"Hurm, help me check out if there is any possibility someone uploaded anything regarding me or Alex on social media. If you find any, clear them up." He went straight to the point right after his secretary, Elizabeth, picked up the phone. "Ah one more thing, find me all the details that you can get about a student name Ralf from TF University."

"Ralf?"

"Yes, Ralf?"

"No info other than that sir?" Elizabeth knew it's going to be hard to search for that person just based on the name.

"I will send you his picture." He suddenly remembered the picture Alexander sent him the other day. "And get me the CCTV of one location at TF University, I will get the details and send it to you." He hung up right away. That was him! The character that he always portrayed in front of others. His smile was hard to see, if they were lucky they might be able to see it when he's with his family or Camellia.

The owner of the sports car that just parked, was seen stepping out from it. The cluck sound from her heels could be heard in Adam's ears.

"Excuse me, may I ask the way to the emergency department?" The woman who was wearing a red tight dress with long wavy hair, asked.

Adam glanced. Arghh! He dislikes shocking red coloured lipstick so much and the time that woman removed her sunglasses he knew he needed to leave quickly.

"Wait." She stopped him, who was just unlocking his car.

He hated this type. The emergency department was right before her eyes and she would know right away if she looked to the front and not at him. Didn't even spare a glance he pointed to the entrance of the department.

"Thank you! If you don't mind, can I ask for a name card?"

The audacity! She just met him a minute ago and dared to ask for a name card, "No I don't have one." He entered the car and just the moment he wanted to close the door, she blocked it.

"Excuse me…!" Adam lost his cool. Fortunately, his phone rang and Elizabeth's name appeared on the screen. "Yes, honey."

The confusion of the person over the line was so big that she even looked back at the screen to confirm she dialled the right numbers, "Sir? This is me Elizabeth."

"Yes honey, I'm on my way." He went out, standing tall in front of the women, then removed one by one of her fingers that were holding onto the door. He entered the car back then closed it right away.

The woman grumbled to herself while thumping her legs. It was not like she didn't recognise Adam, the CEO of WY Group. Getting such treatment, she knew by now, everything about him was not a rumour. He was really hard to approach.

"What is it?" Adam's tone changed right after the car sped away leaving the hospital.

"Ah, we found him."

"Who?"

"Ralf?"

"Ralf? But how?" He was impressed, he hadn't even sent the picture yet, but still, showing his reaction was not in his nature so he always hid it with his monotone. "Are you sure that he is the right person? I don't want the result of the rush to affect us later."

"Yes, sir. He is at the police station right now." Elizabeth told him the info that she got.

"What? Police station, who sent him there?!" He wished to get Ralf on his hand first and did what he should do before sending him to the authorities.

"No one." She gulped before continued, "He turned himself in."

Adam snickered in disbelief, "So, he knows. Okay." Hang up without a proper word once again. Elizabeth must be so confused right now.

The car sped aimlessly. Alexander didn't know where they were heading. Occasionally, he glanced to the side to see the girl that was driving.

"So, did you have fun fooling me?"

His sudden question almost made her push the brake. The silence continued when she stayed quiet until they reached the destination.

"Why? Can't answer? Your idea or Adam?" He was unsatisfied watching her staying mute like that and tried to provoke her.

"Hmm…" She pursed her lips, took a right turn, and they arrived at one restaurant.

Puzzled, Alexander took a second glance at her. "And what are we doing here?"

"I'm hungry."

"Like seriously? In this kind of situation?" He couldn't believe this girl right now.

'So, what was she thinking the whole drive just now was eating?'

"What situation are we now?" She grinned like nothing happened. "Let's go."

He was in a state of serious confusion. This was his first time dealing with a girl like her. He thought she should have been worried but she chose to deal with her tummy first.

Knock knock!

Camellia knocked on the window when he didn't seem to move.

"Ahhh, your shirt." She looked concerned when her eyes saw the blood that stained his sleeve the moment he opened the door. "Wait."

Like he was bewitched, he just waited there watching her open the back door, taking out a jacket. The jacket was Noah's, he left it there when he hitched her car yesterday.

"Here…" She handed out the jacket.

The vintage denim jacket that was handed by Camellia was left untouched. He stared at it before walking past her. He didn't feel like wearing a random guy's jacket.

"Ouch! My hand!" He gritted his teeth, holding the pain when Camellia accidentally stopped him by holding the wound.

"Ah sorry, sorry. I forgot!" Her face was in panic but who knew what was in her heart.

"You did it on purpose, right?" He sent her a death glare.

"I'm not." She bit her lower lip, acting like she was angry. Actually, she has been so annoyed with him since they were at the hospital and she was actually a little satisfied seeing him cry in pain just now. How could a thirty years old man act like this? She thought he was so immature.

"Whatever! Let's just go back." He turned back, totally losing his mood.

"But…I'm hungry." She pouted, using the best method she could use.

Alexander didn't react, he chose to stare at her face but she caught his mouth slightly twitching. She was confident no one could resist her when she was acting cute.

"So how many have fallen for this trick?"

'Ahhhh! why did I fall for him?' She screamed in her heart, thinking she was tricked by every picture Adam sent through the years.
