The man was clad in a crisp white shirt and trousers, his posture upright and commanding, yet an icy chill seemed to emanate from him.

Tara Summer and Fiona Schmidt nearly looked up at the same time, both seeing the man holding a large bouquet of red roses and an exquisitely wrapped, luxurious box.

"Brother..." Fiona stood up, staring at the blooming roses in the man's hand, feeling a wave of sourness in her heart.

"You're here," Walter Schmidt's voice was completely hoarse, and by his count, it had been almost a month since he last slept for more than three consecutive hours.

Yet, there wasn't a trace of fatigue on the man's handsome face, only a cold expression that was startling to behold.

"You went out to buy flowers?" Fiona approached him, staring as she spoke, "Shall I help you arrange them?"
