Tara Summer couldn't lie still anymore. She got out of bed and paced around the room. After waiting for more than three hours, she finally saw Liam Yancey return.

"Why are you still awake?" Liam glanced at his watch. It was nearly eleven o'clock at night, and she was still standing in the room.

"How did it go? Why were you gone for so long?" Tara ran up to him, her face entirely pale from standing for so long.

"Have you been standing this whole time?" The man didn't reply. His handsome face fell as he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up, moving towards the bed. "Look at your hands, they're so cold!"

He sat her upon his lap, his hand enveloping her small, cold one, the chilly touch making his face darken further.

"I was worried about you..." Tara hooked one arm around his neck, her face devoid of color. "What happened? Did you find the photography studio?"

That was her primary concern, and her expression was quite anxious.
