Liam Yancey's face hardened as he pulled away, his gaze on Tara Summer dimmed with gloom, his usually resolute features becoming even colder.
The bedroom was eerily silent, the oppressive atmosphere freezing like ice, ready to shatter at the faintest touch, until the golden glow disappeared.
Tara Summer quickly pulled up the covers to hide her body, her eyes cautiously watching him. She felt bewitched, otherwise, why would her body emit light unreasonably?
However, she was grateful for that light, as it might have saved her modesty at that moment.
Liam Yancey' eyes were deep and introspective as he observed the woman's look of fear and uncertainty, his lips curling into a cold smile. He then got out of bed, his tall figure standing before it.
He fastened his belt, straightened the slightly creased cuff of his shirt. His elegant movements were those of a king, every gesture filled with royal grace.
"You, are mine." His magnetic voice epitomized domineering arrogance, radiant with the air of inevitability, as he stood alone, proud and aloof, like a ruler overlooking his realm.
Before she could react, Liam Yancey turned and took heavy steps out of the room, his broad back determined and solitary, causing an involuntary shiver in those who saw it...
Boom, the double doors, over three meters high, closed heavily behind.
Outside was a vast and luxurious hall, where several bodyguards dressed in black were standing. Seeing the man emerge, they bowed deeply.
"Master Liam!" The bodyguards spoke in unison, their voices thunderous. They held their bow without straightening up, not daring to move until he acknowledged them.
Ignoring them, Liam Yancey lifted the mask from his face, revealing his strikingly handsome face in the light.
His jet-black hair, his high and flying eyebrows, his deeply and narrowly set eyes, his lofty nose and thin lips. The man's features were vividly outlined, utterly flawless.
His wildness and handsomeness were exemplified to the extreme. Even though his demeanor was icy and arrogant, the nobility that emitted from him was irresistible.
Liam Yancey, a man who commanded wind and cloud in Night City, was acknowledged as Master Liam, a titular aristocrat, the hereditary duke of Northern Europe, possessing a quarter of European bloodline.
The status of Liam Yancey in Night City was equivalent to that of a king. With a mere wave of his hand, he could wipe out anyone he wanted!
