Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Training started
"So your name is Ryu! Right? I have seen you before in that jungle. I have high hopes for you. you have quite impressive moves that I saw ",that trainer said.
Ryu didn't turn his back yet but replied,"yes sir".
He moved around his head and saw everyone was already gone with their trainer.
"Let's not waste time here ", he said.
Ryu started to follow him. But he was as fast as light. About half an hour of running Ryu saw he was lost without his trainer. Ryu could not match his speed and fell behind. He looked here and there but found nothing. He was calling for his trainer but no response.
Ryu stopped and thought that this could be a test for him. So he just calmed down. He was on high alert, he thought anything could have happened this time. And he was right. Something is coming in full speed, Ryu senses it and dodge it successfully. It was a branch of a tree.
"So this is a test ,haa. Okay I got it. It was allalong a test",Ryu said slowly. He was on high alert. He was trying to find something suspicious.
He senses something and he turns back and punches the middle of the air. But no one was there. Ryu felt someone behind him and yet his trainer was on his back. He slapped the back of his head very softly.
"Your senses are quite impressive but not outstanding and you're too slow. If anyone but I was not there, you might be dead now. You have to be fast if you wanna live", his trainer said.
Ryu scratched his head and said,"I didn't think it was a test or something, I thought first we would introduce ourselves and then we would discuss the training routine,then we should start the training".
"Kid, this is not a school. It could be a battlefield. You always have to be prepared. Your training started as soon as we left the base. Anything could happen anywhere. So always be prepared for everything. Even if you sleep",he said.
He took a deep breath and said,"Okay then. So the introduction, I'm 4th commander of the Sups, you can call me Hugh. Although it isn't my full name,we aren't allowed to disclose it".
"Oh and my name is…", Ryu was about to introduce himself but he was stopped by Hugh.
"You are Ryu Glen from drag village. You are 16 year old and you speciality is Particle Style. For identification you have a cross mark in your right palm", Hugh said.
Ryu was shocked and said ," how do you know that?"
Hugh smiled and said," how? What do you mean by that? I'm your trainer, I should have known my student so that I could train him better".
Now Ryu understand everything.
"So the introduction is over. Now the training starts",Hugh said.
"Okay sir", Ryu said.
"Firstly I wanna teach you a basic lesson. For that you have to attack me".
"Attack you? For real?"
"Yes, 100%. So now I closed my eyes and you will attack me from any direction".
So he did. Hugh closed his eyes. He was standing there with zero movement. Ryu uses his ability and raises that branch and throws it at him from the left side of Hugh. Hugh didn't move an inch and closed his fist and punched that branch and it was destroyed immediately.
"Carry on", hugh said.
Now Ryu controlled every stone chip near him and throw at him from all directions. That stone chip was shooting like a bullet. But Hugh was so fast and accurate that he caught all the stone chips within a second and not a single stone was able to hit him.
Now Ryu was shocked as well as impressed by him.
"Sir, how did you do that?"Ryu asked.
"So you have witnessed the first thing that I wanna teach you. That is called "Master of Sensing",Hugh said.
"Do you know how Mantra works?"Hugh asked Ryu.
"Not that specific",Ryu replied.
"Mantra isn't nothing but our life energy flowing from our body every single moment. We just control that flow and by mastering that flow we can possess different kinds of abilities like you already witnessed. Although It was basic. We can learn specific abilities according to the specific flow of our body. You and I are the same, means our flow is the same. That's why I'm your trainer".
"What is that called?" Ryu asked
"You are an enhancer", Hugh said.
"And what does that mean?".
"It means we can enhance our abilities to the extreme point. Although there is a limit, that is also a great level".
"Now you have to meditate for a while and learn how to control it",Hugh said.
"I have to learn it myself? Is not there a way to do it faster? Do you bave any cheat code?"Ryu said. Hearing his words, he was upset.
"Ryu, life isn't a game",Hugh said.
"These words just hit him very hard. He thought the same thing was told before by his grandfather".
So Ryu sat down on the ground,closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he saw him. It was Red.
"So you started to learn things. That is good for you. But I have more experience than him. You should have asked me", Red said.
A beautiful mustard field full of mustard flowers. Cold breeze flowing around them.
Red was thinking that Ryu will deny him. But Ryu stayed calm. The beautiful environment gave him peace.
Ryu said," Yes, I should have".
His words breaks Red thinking. He truned back and came closer to Ryu. His ego can be seen on his face. Red was about to say something but Ryu stopped him.
"But not with that ego of yours",Ryu said.
Now Ryu opens his eyes in the real world. He saw something coming out from his body, flowing like a river.
"What is this?"Ryu said.
