Chapter 21: CHAPTER 21: Her last words
Vargas looked at their eyes, there was no sign of respect or any fear. Brian already left that place.
All of a sudden his rude face changed into a big smile and said ,'' well done you two. Let's don't waste our time, now we can get back to our topic".
Suddenly Vargas got news by telepathy.
"All of the squad leaders are requested to come to the Meeting room, master Yoda wants to talk".
Brian breaks the silence and says,"Did something happen, Sir Vargas".
Vargas was in shock. He was praying that what he thought was not the case. Brian's words didn't reach him.
Ryu used his ability and shook Vargas a little bit. He was afraid of doing it but the suspense was more killing them.
"Ohh, sorry. Kid's I have to go now, Master Yoda called a meeting. It's already dark so go to your dorm and Aly you too", Vargas said and left that place.
A portal opened near him and Vargas passed through it.
"What a nerd?", Karry said with a sarcastic laugh as he insulted Vargas in front of them.
"What you said? Do you have any idea what just you said here?", Zeus replied with anger.
Something happened so fast. Aly saw Zuko stop Brian's punch with his hand. That puch was meant for Karry.
"Zuko, don't use too much power. It's because of his ability. He will absorb your attacks and deliver you with an equal or more intensity", Karry said.
Zues was in so much anger, Aly saw that and remembered what happened before. So she tried to cool down Zeus.
Since they were in the same group, Ryu didn't want any trouble between them. So he got between Zuko and Brian and tried to stop them.
"Hey guys, just leave it here. Don't make any trouble between us, we are in the same team after all. Someday we will fight with others to save each other. We have to put our life on the line. Just forget everything here", Ryu said.
Zuko was seething with jealousy at the sight of Aly and Zeus. He said," those sick love birds".
Ryu heard his words but tolerated it silently. Brian ran towards them but Ryu stopped him.
"Leave it Brian", Ryu said with a smile.
"Here comes the son of a fugitive assassin", Karry said.
Brian looked at Ryu with surprise. Zeus looked afraid and tried to say no to Ryu.
The smile on Ryu's face disappeared quickly and a wrath emerged from him.
Someone near the armory room's door saw there was a light coming out from the door's bottom gap and heard noise. So he was going to see what was going on there.
As he approached the room, one burst through the door and came out as another flew out and crashed into the stone wall on the opposite side.
Brian saw Ryu accidentally activating his enhancement Mantra and used it on them. Brian couldn't figure out what just happened there within a mili second. Aly ran to heal their wounds. It was her responsibility to help them as a member of their team no matter what they have done.
"My father isn't a fugitive assassin", Ryu said. That was the only word he said then. It doesn't matter if they heard or not but Brian remembers it so deeply. He didn't try to stop Ryu or say anything as he remembered something that his mother said to him before she died. Her last words…
"Run, run far from those assassin's my son….Live".
