Chapter 72: You are my Queen

"Are you sure you want to do this? Maybe I could just challenge your brother." Thane suggested.

Elisia was in front of the mirror being served by her slaves to put on her armor.

"Zuriel would never back down on a challenge. But you have no match for him." She smiled.

"Ouch! That hurt."

Elisia chuckled. "Zuriel is very powerful. Even our father was afraid of him. I would not let him harm you. Besides, I want to fight Issey."

Thane frowned. "Is it because of me?"

Elisia sighed. "Not really. I just don't like her. She's the current queen, but I think she's not fit for Zuriel."

Thane chuckled. "Because you like Ophelia?"

"Because she's his true mate." She answered back.

Thane sighed. Elisia saw that he was anxious. After the servants put everything on her, she asked them to leave. She stood up and walked closer to Thane.

"Hey. I know you're worried. But I'll be fine." She said to console him.
