Chapter 6: The Second War
I sipped on some warm green tree as I looked outside. It was raining.
The interrogation was.. tiring. I had to show them my chidori to make them believe I was the one who killed him.
"Man, what a pain." I muttered. I was recovering from that loss of chakra. I looked at my hand.
It was the first life I had taken in this time. I remembered the first time I took a life in my previous self.
It was horrifying. But now after seeing two wars and countless deaths it didn't feel like a big deal.
The rain seems to not want to stop. I stood from my place and looked out the window.
"Hey, Izayo." I heard a voice from behind. It was Minato. He seemed tired. "You're done, huh?" I asked.
"Yeah." He stood near me. "The abduction attempt. It was from the hidden cloud." He said.
"I know." I replied. "A foreign village. Do you think it will start a war?" He asked.
"No, well not immediately but it will create massive tension between the two villages. There will be a massive war soon." I said.
"Dammit." He spoke as he clenched his fists.
"Why are you so worked up?" I asked.
"I couldn't fight against them, if I didn't have help I could've died." He replied.
"Well, it seems like someone's salty." I chuckled.
"This is not a joke." He sighed. "Honestly, how are you so calm about these things?"
"Co- any..ways. How's kushina?" I almost blurted out "comes with experience." But refrained from doing so.
"She's fine. They didn't hurt her." He said. I could see the relief in his eyes. "Yeah.. anyways I have to go now. Have fun." I waved my hand as I left for Orochimaru's place.
I was currently in my training grounds. It was a long year but the pressure from the upcoming war and unexpected guidance made me finish this project way earlier than expected.
Well it wasn't finished per se. It still needed to be polished but the style was there. I took a deep breath and extended my hand.
A bright blue sphere formed in my hand and no it wasn't the rasengan. It was the first ever plasma release jutsu ever created.
I targeted a nearby tree. A flare emerged from the sphere and blew towards the intended target. It looked like bright blue fumes were emerging from them.
As soon as the fumes made contact with the tree trunk. It vaporized it like it was nothing. Not even ashes remained as the tree fell down.
I looked at the fallen tree. I tried to use plasma release like fire release or scorch release but it was inefficient. Just that flame required a huge amount of chakra.
I needed to use it in a different way. But how? Using it as a giant plasma cannon seems cool and all but it was highly inefficient.
What might be the best way to use it? I now had a new project in hand.

I looked at the headband in my hand.
*sigh* Due to the war I had to graduate early. I tied the band on my forehead. Not only did I graduate early, those guys made me a freaking chunin… Damn it, I knew I shouldn't have used chidori.
"So, you finally made it. Congratulations." I heard a voice from behind. "Thank you sensei." I smiled. Is he going to give me a graduation present? I looked at him expectantly.
"You're quite greedy aren't you?" He chuckled, "Here, Every shinobi needs a summon." He gave me a scroll. "But be careful, snakes can be really difficult."
"Woh… You're giving me a snake summon?" I asked. "I'm not 'giving' you a snake summon. I am giving you a chance to summon a snake. Whether you make a contract with it or not is entirely up to you."
"I understand." I said. "Should I summon it here?" I asked. "Of course not, we are in my house."
"Yeah, that makes sense." I nodded as we moved to an open place.
I opened the scroll. "Drop your blood in the scroll." Orochimaru ordered.
I bit my thumb and dropped my blood on the scroll. *puff* after that familiar puff. A huge snake appeared out of nowhere.
It had grey scales that covered its body. Two piercing grey eyes with vertical slits and two horn-like extensions in its head.
It looked super intimidating. Its eye fell onto me. {Hello little human.} It said as soon as our eyes met.
I was startled. "You can speak?" I asked. It didn't say anything until our eyes met again. {No, but I can communicate through my eyes.}
{Oh, is it genjutsu?} I asked, surprised that I didn't have to talk either.
{You can say that.} It nonchalantly replied.
{So, are you the one who summoned me?} it asked.
{Yeah} My answer was short. {I see. Here}
It raised its tail and tapped the scroll.
{So, little human now that you are my summoner Let's exchange names I am called Hyoka}
{Oh.. okay I am call- hey wait a minute isn't it a bit too easy?}
{What do you mean?} The snake asked.
{Aren't you going to test me or something? Do you want to sign a contract just like that? That's quite suspicious.} I narrowed my eyes.
{Indeed that does come off like that. Don't worry little human, if I wanted to harm you I would not have needed such schemes. As for the test? The fact that you summoned me is enough. It means that we are bound by fate.} The snake said.
{Oh.. okay. I am Hinode Izayo. It's a pleasure to meet you.} I said.
{Okay little human, I will take my leave for now.} Hyoka said as it disappeared in a puff of smoke.
*Few* I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Congratulations, you have a summon now." Orochimaru said as he approached me. "Yeah" I replied. "It was easier than I thought."
"You were lucky to have a good natured snake. Some of the snakes are really difficult." Orochimaru said remembering a certain purple snake.
"Anyways. I will be deployed to handle the border with Amagakure. I won't be meeting you for quite a while now." Orochimaru said.
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Aren't I in your division?"
"No, you have been deployed in Danzo's unit in kiri." He said.
