Chapter 14: The craziest decision of his entire life

Alanis then added seeing Mika hesitate, "If I promise you I won't flirt with anyone when you don't even want me, I want you to promise me the same until you fulfill your part of our deal."

Mika then felt Alanis release his hand but this time it was he who tightened the grip around his fingers, he had probably just made the craziest decision of his entire life.

Mika then said to him while resuming a comfortable position in the jacuzzi, "Ok, let's try... let's be together, but we go slowly."

Alanis immediately relaxed and he lay back down in the jacuzzi, and Mika said to him looking at him seriously, "And I promise you that no matter what happens between us I won't flirt with anyone else and I will keep my promise."

He told him with this determined look that Alanis was so fond of, "I will help you get the magic pills you need, I won't give up and I won't slack off even if we are in a relationship, you have my word… And don't worry unnecessarily, I'm tougher than I look."

Alanis smiled at him, Mika had been the one chosen by the dimension and so that meant that all the greatest warriors of his clan had deemed him worthy of the task, and he even put his permanent print on him, because honestly, how could a Wandering Soul fail, he had no doubt that Mika would succeed.

He knew Mika would become extremely powerful and so he said to him, "I can't wait to see what you're capable of, I could teach you to fight if you need me to."

Mika said to him after drinking some of his beer which turned out to be less tasty than when he had tasted it while kissing Alanis, "No need, come with me to a dungeon tomorrow and you'll see by yourself."

Alanis then leaned over and he kissed his forehead in a tender way, then he said to him, "If you think I'm going to let you go raid dungeons alone you're dreaming, even if my print can protect you from minor injuries and increase your strength and speed, it doesn't make you immortal, got it."

Mika smiled as he continued to drink his beer, he remembered that indeed, Alanis had already told him about the advantages of having his print on him, and he was looking forward to testing his new limits, in fact if he was listening to himself he would even go and loot another dungeon right away, but during the next two days he would have to be careful not to push the limits of this body too much.

He still didn't know if he would have any side effects from the high fever Mikail had been suffering from, but in any case he didn't intend to take any unnecessary risks.

Alanis then said to him still stroking the palm of his hand with her thumb, "Mika, the food is coming, are you coming to eat with me or do you want to stay here?"

Mika looked at him again and he leaned towards him to give him a light kiss on the lips, as he had decided to try something with Alanis he might as well enjoy it fully, however he said to him, "I'm really not hungry at the moment, I'm going to stay here for a while longer."

Alanis nodded and then he got up, he took his beer and Mika's because he had just finished it and he offered to bring him another one, but Mika refused because he had the impression that this body didn't have a very strong tolerance to alcohol, and he didn't want to make a fool of himself if he ever got drunk with Alanis the first night that they spent together.

Alanis went away leaving him alone and Mika in spite of himself ended up falling asleep in the jacuzzi, the tiredness and all the strong emotions of that day finally got the better of him.

When he woke up the next morning, because of an alarm clock that was literally ringing in his head, he remembered that Mikail was also using his bracelet as an alarm clock to go to class and that it must have been 6:30 in the morning already.

Damn, Mika thought, he didn't even remember falling asleep last night, and yet he was in a nice warm bed wrapped in comforting warmth and when he tried to move, he realized that this comforting warmth he was feeling came from Alanis.

His head wasn't resting on a pillow but on his chest and their bodies were intertwined together, he smiled in spite of himself, Alanis could have taken advantage of the situation, but he could feel that both of them were wearing jogging pants, that made a good point for him.

He propped himself up on one elbow to admire the beautiful face of Alanis who was still sleeping peacefully, and he took advantage of this moment to look at his magnificent body. He was shirtless, and his pecs were impressive and totally hairless, his abs were drawn to perfection with the V-shaped line that made him devilishly sexy, and the more he looked at him the more his hands became sweaty and his throat dry, damn this guy was a real sex bomb he couldn't help thinking.

Alanis must have felt his gaze on him because he suddenly opened his eyes and he smiled when he saw Mika looking at him that way, the sudden acceleration of his heartbeat had woken him up and he said to tease him, "Do you like what you see?"

Mika didn't hide it from him and he said, "Um, I like it, you are beautiful."

Then he regretfully told him when he remembered what time it was because he would have liked to stay with him longer to get to know him better, "I have to get ready for class, sorry it's really just until my dropout is taken care of."

Alanis' smile disappeared when he heard this, but he simply nodded, Mika had already explained this to him last night, and even though he would have preferred to keep him with him, he consoled himself by telling himself that it was only for a few days and that afterwards he would have all the time he wanted to enjoy these little tender moments in the morning with him.
