Chapter 1660: A Few Bites

Xue Yan scooped half a bowl of lotus seed, red date, and white fungus soup from the cup for her while saying, " Mother said that although the side dishes go with rice, you shouldn't eat too much of it. Eating too much is not good for your body."

"Yes." Jiang Yue nodded and took the small bowl of soup that he had served her.

"How much rice do you want?" Xue Yan intended to scoop rice for her from the bowl.

"Just a few mouthfuls." They were drinking soup and eating vegetables. It felt like they couldn't eat much. Besides, she's been eating more lately. Before dinner, she had another meal in the afternoon.

"Okay." Xue Yan scooped a few mouthfuls for her and placed them in front of her.

He tore a drumstick and placed it on the plate in front of her for her to eat.

He didn't help her with the other dishes. Whatever she wanted to eat, she could just reach out and pick it up on her own. She didn't have to put down her chopsticks or anything.
