Chapter 60: Chapter 57 Tour of the mansion
"R-Really!" Hestia screamed in surprise, her pigtails bouncing around as she did so, her ragged clothes barely able to support her.
"How we're you able to afford this,I mean, how many monsters did it take." Asked Hestia.
"Too many to count, if it weren't for two very kind adventurers reminding me about time, I would have stayed for a longer time." I replied, though that only served to make Hestia angry as she remembered how I had been gone for a long time.
She lept at me as she started biting me in anger
"I nearly forgot about this, how dare you lie to me, you said you will be back in twelve days, and the. you were gone for longer, what if something had happened to you, huh!" I took the small punishment in strides as I had broken my promise.
The others watched with a wry smile as she kept hanging off of me, not letting go, although no one seemed to notice the small patch of wetness on my shoulders, Hestia was crying a little.
"Haha, I am sorry, it won't happen again, anyway let's go in and have a look around, Welf, Bell and Lili, lets go." with my signal, we entered the garden as the heavenly smell of a myriad of flowers wafted in the air.
"Ahhh! it's so nice." Lili couldn't help but gasp as she looked like she was in heaven, I guess that's a given, she is supposed to have enhanced senses as an animal person.
"Wait! is that what I think it is?" Welf asked me, I understood what he was saying and nodded.
There was a row of rooms to the left side of the mansion, they were forges, I had chosen this mansion for this specific purpose.
We finally entered the Mansion, walking in, we were met with a huge hall that had several smaller hallways leading to different area.
There was a place that very much resembled a food court, there were twenty rooms on this floor, some looked like they would be used for official purposes while others were more like living quarters, there was also a giant meeting room on this floor.
We went ahead and reach the first floor, this one had luxurious rooms, a total of six rooms with a few official rooms that I could not decide what to do with.
This floor also had a training room, A gym that came pre built with equipment, I looked at a few weights that were magically made to weigh more.
'I need to buy me a few of those.'
There was also a giant lounge as well where the members of the familia could relax and talk about their day.
"Th-this is too big, what are we gonna do with all this extra room." Hestia stuttered, I chuckled at her thoughts, she was truly conflicting herself, on one hand she was feeling smug while thinking about how to gloat about this to Loki, and on the other hand, she was feeling reluctant to use my money, which will cause the other gods to laugh at her innocence.
"This belongs to you hestia, just me repaying the favor of you taking me in." I told her.
"B-but you were already so strong when you joined my familia, I have no part in building you up." She told me with a weak voice.
Welf and the others had long gone to the back of the mansion where the pool was located.
"Don't sweat the small stuff, if I say it's yours, then it's yours, come on, the second and last floor is the best, it has your very own office as well as suite. Plus a fee extra luxury rooms for us, the original familia members."
I then held her hands as I led her around the area, not waiting for her to come up with a retort, The second floor was unlike the previous floor as you could feel and see the exquisite furniture placed in here just by looking at it.
For a moment, even I was stunned, I should have given them a tip or something, though what I didn't understand was how I got this place for so cheap, maybe I am just assuming wrong.
I left Hestia in the place and made my way out to the pool, Hestia was busy jumping on her new king size bed which she started rolling on in glee.
"Hey Robin! come join us." Bell called out.
I nodded as I jumped into the pool as well, though I suddenly felt them gaze at me, so I also gave them a look.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing...if you don't mind me asking." Welf asked, unsure of himself.
"I don't mind it, we are a family...sort of." I replied.
"So what's with all those scars on your body, especially the back." he asked me.
'Ah! so they are looking at that.' I thought in understanding.
"Just from when I fight monsters and train myself, it not much, now, since I answered your questions, it's my turn." I said with a smile
As I was about to ask him, A ball flew over and hit me on the head, that's when Bell came over, it seems he and Lili are playing.
Me and Welf also joined in the fun and so did Hestia once she came down, she literally flew from the second floor toward the pool, dropping with a splash, I think she sometime forgets that she is a mortal at the moment.
