"Where's the rice pudding deliciousness?" She asked impatiently with eyes gleaming in excitement.

"Manners, young girl. What happened to greeting?" Charlotte glared at her and Rory bit her tongue in embarrassment. 

"Sorry, good morning, Mrs Macy." She bowed with a smile.

"I can see you're so excited about the rice pudding. I didn't know you like it this much, I would have made it for you everyday."

"Thank you, Mrs Macy. Rice pudding is life." She moaned and both women laughed at her silly antics.

"Tsk! And you didn't even dry your hair completely! Do you want to catch a cold?" Charlotte chided, feeling her daughter's dump hair with her fingers. "Sit here. I was about to serve you."

Rory sat down with a grin like a little kid waiting for her meal. Just as Charlotte placed the bowl in front of her, Zeth came in.
