"Please, sir..." Rory called the driver but before she could continue, the driver cut her short.

"Call me Zeth, please." He said.

"Oh, um... Zeth. Where are we going, if I may ask?"

"To places you might like." He simply answered, looking at her through the rearview mirror with a smile.

Rory looked at her mother and smiled. She already loved the sound of it. It had been so long since she last had such fun outside her home. She didn't even remember the last time she visited a place. It had always been from home to school to the grocery store and back home.

Now that they got the chance to go out, she wanted to enjoy most of the day. Livingsprings had been a city she had always dreamed of seeing one day, and here she was, about to roam this great city.

And having her mother by her side right now in this tour was like the cherry on top. The kidnap issue had really strained them both. Guess it was time to cool off some steam.
